Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has approved the new 2,655 posts for Punjab Institute of Neurosciences and Lahore General Hospital. To make the process effective and to complete in time, funds have been also approved by the CM Punjab. According to Principle Postgraduate Medical Institute & Ameer-ud-Din Medical College, Professor Khalid Mahmood in a meeting has said 847 new posts has been specified for the various categories of Punjab Institute of Neurosciences. In addition to these posts, the other 199 and 236 new employees will be recruited for the Phase-II and Phase-III of the mega development plan of the Institute. Khidmat Card To Be Launched in Punjab Soon

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif announced launch of “Khidmat Card”. He said that as an expansion of Qarza-e-Hasana scheme, a health insurance scheme and Rozgar bank will be introduced that will concentrate on helping the needy. “Khidmat Card” holder will be able to get a monthly allowance of Rupees 500 in the start and the allowance will be increased gradually to 1000 Rupees per month. In order to be eligible for the Khidmat Card, the applicant must enroll one of his children in a primary school otherwise he will not be considered as eligible. Metro Bus Service in Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Multan

Official approval has been confirmed by the Punjab cabinet to initiate the Metro Bus project in Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Metro Bus Lahore: Failure or Success?

Metro Bus System in Lahore is unarguably Pakistan’s 1st rapid mass transit project. Before it was inaugurated, many were claiming that this is a revolutionary step by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The number of Metro buses initially incorporated into this project is 45 buses. Each bus having 18 meter length is 6 meter longer than normal buses.
