Pakistan Won Asia Kabaddi Cup 2016; Beat India by 19 Points

In an important match of 3rd Asian Kabaddi Championship, Pakistan has defeated the arch rivals India by 19 points. The final match of 3rd Asian Kabaddi Championship played between Pakistan and India in Wah Cantt.

Indian Kabaddi team earned 31 points against 50 points of Pakistan Kabaddi team. Both India and Pakistan remained unbeaten in their respective pools. However, today in the important match Pakistan Kabaddi Team gained a decisive victory over Indian Kabaddi Team. With the defeat of Indian Kabaddi Team, Pakistan also succeeds in defending his title for 2015 Asian Kabaddi Champions that was also gained by beating India.

A power show was shown by Pakistan Kabaddi Team stopper Sajjad Gujjar who hindered the Indian raiders towards fifty points set by Pakistan. The tournament was organized in a league format where all teams played against each other.

About 2016 Asia Kabaddi Cup

Pakistan hosted the six-day Asia Kabaddi Cup in Pakistan Ordinance Factory Sports Complex, Wah Cantt. The event started on May 02, 2016 with the match between Pakistan and Iran in which Pakistan successfully defeated the Iran.  Today in the final match Pakistan beat India by 19 points to win 3rd Asia Kabaddi Cup and retain the title of 2nd Asia Kabaddi Cup 2015. On the other side, Afghanistan and Iran are fighting for the third and fourth position.

Six Asian teams participated in this event that was Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Nepal, Iran and Sri Lanka.
