Now another step has been taken by Easypaisa by launching a new service named ‘Doorstep Money Transfer’ enabling the money to be received at your home within a time period of 1 working day.

Although the person receiving the money can have the money at the comfort of their home but the person sending the money will still have to go to Easypaisa shop to send the money. If sender wants to have a ‘Doorstep Delivery’, they can call Easypaisa help line (3737 or 111-345-100). Same can be done by receiver of the money.

The transaction will be verified and once it is verified, the funds will be delivered within 1 working day. This service will charge you usual service charges if it is domestic remittance of over Rs.2500 only. The service is currently available in all major cities but expansion is underway for whole Pakistan.

Nadeem Hussain (CEO, Tameer Microfinance Bank) said that

Easypaisa’s phenomenal mobile financial service infrastructure has opened avenues for the Pakistani people that simply did not exist before. Social empowerment continues to be the driving vision behind Easypaisa and countless Pakistanis have benefitted from the empowerment that mobile financial services offer.

Honestly it is true that Easypaisa and similar services has made life very easy for an ordinary illiterate Pakistani who do not have a bank account and does not understand how to handle the hassle which the traditional banking system of Pakistan puts you through. It is quick and this option where you can get the money delivered at your doorstep is really going to give a new dimension to branch-less banking in Pakistan.
